The Enjin Wallet supports wallet imports from MyEtherWallet. There are two ways to import your wallet from MyEtherWallet to your Enjin Wallet—with a Private Key or with a Keystore (UTC/JSON) file.

Importing with a Private Key

Download the Enjin Wallet and Select Import Wallet. You will be directed to select the wallet type to import. Swipe down and select "Private Key / MEW" under the Ethereum section.

Input your private key to continue. After confirming a valid private key, you’ll be asked to set up a password for your wallet. It's important to remember or write down this password as it will be used to encrypt your keys for the wallet. The app requires this password before completing any transaction.

Note: Due to the clipboard being insecure storage for sensitive data, we do not allow copy or paste functions in sensitive fields within the app.

You will then be prompted to Select Coins and to choose whether or not you would like to auto add tokens to your wallet. The auto add feature will detect any wallet balances you may have and automatically select them for you.

When you are satisfied with the list of selected tokens, tap “Restore Wallet” to complete the process and load your MEW wallet.

Importing with a Keystore

You will need the Keystore file to extract its contents for importing. Open your Keystore file with any text editor.

Note: You will need to be able to send this Keystore data to your Enjin Wallet device. You can do this via many ways: self-messaging, self-emailing, etc. Alternatively, you can use a QR code generator to create a QR code to scan this data onto your device.

Choose “Import Wallet” and select the “Ethereum Keystore / MEW” option.

You will need to input your Keystore data and encryption password to import your wallet. You can copy/paste the data into the field or use the QR code button on the top right to scan this data in.

The encryption password is the same password you received for this Keystore file.

After unlocking your wallet, you’ll be asked to set up a password. This password can be different from your Keystore encryption password. It's important to remember or write down this password as it will be used to encrypt your keys for the wallet. The app requires this password before completing any transaction.

On the "Select Coins" screen, you can choose whether or not you would like to auto add tokens to your wallet. The auto add feature will detect any wallet balances you may have and automatically select them for you.

When you are satisfied with the list of selected tokens, tap “Restore Wallet” to complete the process and load your MEW wallet.
