Your Enjin Wallet password is required to decrypt your Private Key when performing operations that require a signature with your Private Key to show proof of ownership. This includes sending tokens or collectibles, as well as backing up your wallet recovery phrase.
We strongly encourage you to back up your wallet before completing any transactions. Be sure to write down your 12-word recovery phrase on paper and store it in a safe place.
To change your Enjin Wallet password, select "Settings" from the main menu.
Select the "Change Password" option to initiate the process.
In order to change your password, you will first need to enter your current password. This will allow the app to decrypt and re-encrypt your private key using your new Enjin Wallet password you select.
Now, choose a new password for your wallet encryption and hit "Next Step."
Note: To avoid the use of weak passwords, your new password will require a minimum of 8 characters and 1 number.
Confirm your new password and select "Change" to complete the process.
