To comply with app store guidelines, regulatory requirements, and technical limitations, the features and capabilities of the Enjin Wallet may vary based on factors such as geographic location, device type, and other criteria. A summary of these differences and their availability is provided in the table below.

Please note that this list may not be exhaustive, and the reasons behind certain restrictions may not be fully detailed. Every effort is made to communicate variations in functionality transparently, though some limitations fall outside the scope of what can be adjusted within the application.
 

Functionality Differences

Both the operating system version and the device architecture requirements must be met. An Android device running a supported version of Android may still be incompatible if it uses a 32-bit system build. See the section below for details.

¹ This functionality was disabled on 7 December 2022 in v1.11.0 following changes to Apple's App Store Guidelines. Specifically, the addition of the following language to Section 3.1.1, In-App Purchase: "Apps may allow users to browse NFT collections owned by others, provided that the apps may not include buttons, external links, or other calls to action that direct customers to purchasing mechanisms other than in-app purchase."

² DApp Browser functionality is no longer available in either the Android or iOS wallet builds. On iOS, this reflects Apple's regulations.

³ From version 3.5.0 onward, the Android wallet is built exclusively for 64-bit (arm64-v8a) devices, alongside a shift to a faster application runtime that improves startup performance. Most recent Android devices are unaffected. However, some budget devices ship with a 32-bit system build even when the processor supports 64-bit, and Google Play may show the app as no longer compatible on these devices despite the Android version meeting the minimum requirement. A device's architecture can be checked under Settings → About phone, or through a system information app from the Play Store. Funds remain safe and are unaffected by device compatibility. Assets are secured by the recovery phrase rather than by the device, so a wallet can be restored on any compatible device using that phrase. Recovery phrases should never be shared with anyone under any circumstances.
