A multiverse NPC is a non-player character integrated with at least two games.

There are two types of multiverse NPCs, based on ownership:

• Player-Owned: An NPC that is owned by the player (e.g., a pet or sidekick).
• Autonomous: An experimental type of NPC that owns itself. It owns the keys to its own wallet and the ownership token over the NPC. It can earn and spend blockchain assets to hire other players, trade, or upgrade itself.
