Legacy accounts are wallets created in the Enjin Wallet 1.0 app (prior to March 2019).
When importing a legacy account into the latest Enjin Wallet app, the corresponding addresses for JumpNet, Binance Smart Chain (BNB20), or Polygon may not always appear automatically. These addresses are usually similar to the original Ethereum address but may require adjustments due to different derivation paths used in the legacy app.
This guide explains how to correctly generate these addresses for legacy accounts.
Before You Begin
The process requires some familiarity with derivation paths. You will also need to enable Power User Mode in the Enjin Wallet app.

Adding Legacy Wallet Addresses
-
Import your legacy account into the Enjin Wallet app using either your recovery phrase or private key.
Go to: Settings → Wallets → Add Wallet → Import Wallet → Set Wallet Name → Enter recovery phrase. For details, see: Importing a Wallet.
If the legacy account is already imported, continue to the next step: Adjusting the Derivation Path.
During import, balances on chains like JumpNet, Binance Smart Chain (BNB20), or Polygon may appear automatically. If not, follow the steps below.
Adjusting the Derivation Path
-
On the Manage Wallets page, select the legacy account you imported.
-
Tap Add Blockchain.
-
Choose the blockchain you want to add (e.g., Ethereum).
-
Because Power User Mode is enabled, you’ll be redirected to the Add Addresses page.
-
Edit the Derivation Path. Simply remove the last “/0” from the default derivation path so it matches the legacy format. Then, tap on the first address from the list that appears.
The latest Enjin Wallet uses this default path:
m/44'/60'/0'/0/0. In the example screenshot below, the address with the derivation path44'/60'/0'/0/0is 0x8019...b4AE.The legacy Enjin Wallet used this shorter path:
m/44'/60'/0'/0. In the example screenshot below, the address with the derivation path44'/60'/0'/0is 0x604d...b7Ad.
-
Tap Add Addresses to confirm.
Final Steps
-
Return to the Wallet tab by tapping the back button (←) twice.
From the Settings page, go to Wallet.
-
The correct legacy address should now be visible.
