If you are trying to send out a coin / token but getting the "Insufficient Balance" message, it could indicate one of two scenarios::
- You are trying to transfer more coins / tokens than you have in your wallet
- You don't have enough coins / tokens to pay for the transfer fee.
Insufficient Balance in the Amount field
If the "Insufficient Balance" message appears next to the "Amount" field, you are trying to transfer more tokens than you have in your wallet.
To proceed with the transfer, adjust the amount that you are trying to transfer.
Insufficient Balance in the Transfer Fee field
If the "Insufficient Balance" message appears next to the "Transfer Fee" field, you don't have enough native coins / tokens to cover for the transaction fee.
Each blockchain requires transaction fee paid in it's own native token.
To proceed with the transfer, you must fund your wallet with some of the native coin / token.
If you have a bit of the native coin / token and you don't wish to fund anymore, you can lower the transfer fee.
❓ Lowering the transfer fee might result in a transaction stuck at pending status, based on the current congestion of the blockchain.
Not sure which token you need to cover the transaction fee? or what is the current recommended amount? check out this article: What is the transfer fee and how much should I use?
