A recovery phrase is a set of human-readable words which acts as a seed used to generate the private keys for your wallets on multiple blockchains.

The Enjin Wallet is a BIP44-compliant Hierarchical Deterministic Wallet (HD Wallet). Your wallet address can be recovered at any time by using a recovery phrase.

The Enjin Wallet uses the BIP-39 English wordlist for recovery phrases.

An example of a recovery phrase:

apple banana car drive emerald fun ghost honey ice juice kite lime

Note: It is very important that you write down your recovery phrase on paper and store it in a safe place!

Your wallet can be recovered with this recovery phrase at any time if you have forgotten your password or if you have lost access to your device or the Enjin Wallet app.

Enjin does not store, nor have the ability to check, recovery phrases or passwords. Thus, we cannot assist in retrieving your recovery phrase if you have lost it.
